"Influence Alley" - a blog of the Capitol Hill publication National Journal - wrote about the upcoming "fly-in" of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), and the fact that pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) issues will be on the list of topics to be addressed by pharmacy advocates in hundreds of meetings with legislators. 

Reporter Andrew Joseph wrote that the event - called NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill - will "emphasize to lawmakers how pharmacies help patients and keep costs down."

"NACDS has been a strong opponent of the proposed merger between two PBMs, Express Scripts and Medco Health Solutions," Joseph added.

NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill will be held March 21 and 22.
